The Political Animals cast is a very stately bunch, just look at the exclusive photo below for further proof. The new USA Network series, which premieres on July 15, stars Sigourney Weaver as Elaine Barrish Hammond, the current secretary of state and the ex-wife of a former US president. Sound familiar?
The miniseries, from Greg Berlanti and Laurence Mark, tells the story of “a former first family explores the nuanced and complex world of politics and exposes what is behind the polished facade of public life,” according to USA.
Carla Gugino, Ellen Burstyn, Ciaran Hinds, James Wolk, Sebastian Stan and Brittany Ishibashi round out the presidential cast of “Political Animals.”
